Everyone seems to assume lower rates automatically mean stocks go higher. I am not sure it is that simple.
If central banks are cutting because inflation is under control, that can obviously help risk assets. But if they are cutting because growth and jobs are rolling over, the reason for the cut matters just as much as the cut itself.
